One of the spanish top news during last march was the designation and fast resignation of María Dolores de Cospedal’s husband on a high position in Red Eléctrica Española (company controlled partially by the gorvernment). The subject was strongly criticized and Ignacio López del Hierro quit 6 hours later to a job paid with a salary of between 130 and 180 thousand euros per year. This person has a long political career: at the end of the seventies was the gorvernor of Toledo. Occupying this important position, on august of 1979 and on the middle of a summer weekend in Cabo de Palos, Lopez del Hierro gave a controversy interview that was printed nationwide. “There is water for everybody” he said, defending the water transfer Tajo-Segura, that at that time was rejected by the majority of manchegos. Back from his Cabo de Palos short vacation, López del Hierro had to resign to his important political position.
